The Wagoneer S has standard ParkSense Rear Park Assist with Stop that uses rear sensors to monitor for objects to the rear and automatically applies the brakes to prevent a collision. The ID.BUZZ doesn’t offer backup collision prevention brakes.

The Wagoneer S has four-wheel drive to maximize traction under poor conditions, especially in ice and snow. The ID.BUZZ doesn’t offer four-wheel drive.

Both the Wagoneer S and the ID.BUZZ have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras and rear cross-path warning.

Jeep’s powertrain warranty covers the Wagoneer S 1 year and 10,000 miles longer than Volkswagen covers the ID.BUZZ. Any repair needed on the engine, transmission, axles, joints or driveshafts is fully covered for 5 years or 60,000 miles. Coverage on the ID.BUZZ ends after only 4 years or 50,000 miles.

The Wagoneer S’ corrosion warranty is unlimited miles longer than the ID.BUZZ’s (unlimited vs. 100,000 miles).

There are almost 4 times as many Jeep dealers as there are Volkswagen dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Wagoneer S’ warranty.

J.D. Power and Associates’ 2024 Initial Quality Study of new car owners surveyed provide the statistics that show that Jeep vehicles are better in initial quality than Volkswagen vehicles. With 41 fewer problems per 100 vehicles, JD Power ranks Jeep higher than Volkswagen.

The Wagoneer S’ electric motors produces 318 more horsepower (600 vs. 282) and 204 lbs.-ft. more torque (617 vs. 413) than the ID.BUZZ’s standard electric motor. The Wagoneer S’ electric motors produces 265 more horsepower (600 vs. 335) and 105 lbs.-ft. more torque (617 vs. 512) than the ID.BUZZ’s optional electric motors.

The Jeep Wagoneer S has standard four-wheel disc brakes for better stopping power and improved directional control in poor weather. Only rear drums come on the ID.BUZZ. Drums can heat up and make stops longer, especially with antilock brakes that work much harder than conventional brakes.

The Wagoneer S has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The ID.BUZZ doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.

The Jeep Wagoneer S may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 250 to 450 pounds less than the Volkswagen ID.BUZZ.

The Wagoneer S is 3 inches shorter than the ID.BUZZ, making the Wagoneer S easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The Wagoneer S is 11.4 inches shorter in height than the ID.BUZZ, making the Wagoneer S much easier to wash and garage and drive (lower center of gravity).

The front grille of the Wagoneer S uses electronically controlled shutters to close off airflow and reduce drag when less engine cooling is needed. This helps improve highway fuel economy. The ID.BUZZ doesn’t offer active grille shutters.

The Wagoneer S has a much larger cargo volume than the ID.BUZZ with its rear seat up (30.6 vs. 18.6 cubic feet).

The Wagoneer S’ standard towing capacity is much higher than the ID.BUZZ’s (3400 vs. 2600 pounds).

Unlike the driver-only memory seat in the ID.BUZZ, the Wagoneer S has standard driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position, outside mirror angle and radio stations and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.

The Jeep Wagoneer S has power folding mirrors that offer unparalleled convenience while maneuvering in tight places or parked. With the mirrors folded it’s easier to walk past and help prevent parking damage. The mirrors can be quickly unfolded when the driver is ready to leave. Power folding mirrors are not standard on all versions of the ID.BUZZ.

Both the Wagoneer S and the ID.BUZZ have standard heated front seats. The Wagoneer S also has standard heated rear seats to keep those passengers extremely comfortable in the winter. Heated second row seats aren’t available in the ID.BUZZ.
